COROLLA / XA Q's... rims, mpg, etc
Hey, been looking at the scionlife forums for a couple months just reading what everyone has to say. and might I add I love this site. Anyway, I'm looking to get a new car and its between an Xa and a Corolla LE. I just started looking into the Corolla and was wondering if its automatic trans mpg is generally just as good as the Xa's? The only reason I feel the need to ask is because you know how some cars' EPA MPG are way off... I figured I'll just ask you guys. Also, is it possible to fit 20's on a Corolla without rubbing? I'm pretty foreign to tire sizes and all that but TireRack.com seems to sell 20's for Corollas. Another thing that stears me away from the Xa is this paint problem I've been reading about... that's the last thing I'd want to worry about haha. Thanks and sorry for coming off too wussy or nice (I'm just trying to make a good impression!

First off, putting 20's on a car is going to hurt mpgs. Unsure if 20s fit the Corolla but 19's fit the xA without any rubbing issues. I know the xA gets slightly above it's EPA mpgs auto and stick. I say go with the xA because the Corolla looks too much like a rental car. Plus with the cash you save you can do the mods needed to fit 20's on the xA.
If you have any other questions regarding the xA check out www.se-detroit.com and talk to Chris Fera (Blue Estel)
