Ferrari through Paris
Being in the UK right now makes me appreciate Euros even more. My girlfriend just sent me this link. I'll rip a part of the description.
"On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris."

P.S. if this is in the wrong forum, please feel free to chang it.

Ok, you know you are moving pretty quick when the dashed line seperating lanes looks like a solid line. I actually went for a ride in a co-worker's Ferrari this weekend. All I have to say is WOW!
The craziest thing is that those are REAL cars and REAL people that he almost hits. They couldn't get the permit to shut down the roads for this run, so they just did it anyway without any permits. It reminds me of playing Need for Speed, except about halfway through you realize, WOW, this is for real!

Amazing. L'Arc de Triomphe to the Sacre Coeur in 9 minutes. Took me easily half an hour.
Where are all the cars? When I was there, it was mayhem.
I miss Europe.
And for the $2.92 comment, gas was well more than $5/gallon when I was there a few years ago. You know, when gas was still around a dollar per gallon here.
