i am getting this focus zx3 in the coming few days, its a red 2000 5sp zx3, tell me wut u think? in terms of performance or appearance.

i had an 01 and it was nothing but problems.

were should i start

bad water leak onto passenger floor. lots of water puddled on the floor after a big rainstorm

Cam cover gasket leaked

Cat went bad at 82'K

Charcoal canister clogged up and thret a check engine light

2 clutches, one transmission and a flywheel

electrical problem causing lighets to shut off ranomly

fog lights burnout all the time

water in headlights, i went thru 2 sets of them

recalls.

Shifter mounts broke.

paint wasnt all that great.

but the fun parts of it

fun to drive factor is very high

aftermarket support is huge

can swap in a countour SVT motor or a 5.0 V8 or even a 4.6 cobra!

drives like a go cart with sportlines on it. and the 16's i had on my 01'

their are a lot of focus to scion owners on her that may talk smack about their focus. i was 80% done with mine. but it was way too unreliable to keep it going.

my exhaust was the best out there. a flowmaster muffler and that was it. all custom and worht it. loud for some but perfect for me. on deceleration, it sounds like a SRT-4

the main reason i buy it is for autocross, maybe time trail later. i did some research, and found its handling very good. and i am crazy about hatchbacks.

get the right suspension and you can get it up on 3 wheels
