Well, after giving the xB to the daughter for her wedding I ended up buying a Lexus IS250. That ended up being too darned small for me. So, today I went out to look at a vehicle I've been admiring for some time, the Ford Flex. After much looking and a test drive I drove home a brand new SEL in Cinnamon with the white roof. So far I love it. Talk about a roomy car!!

Just wondering if anyone else has driven/ridden in a Flex and if so how did you like it?

 

Have not... can't get past the looks. Not my style. I think I'd consider an Edge before the Flex.

Glad you're happy with it though! That's the part that matters.

SEL is just one of Ford's "models" or option packages. Like SE, LE, etc.

 

Correct. The SEL is the middle of the option line. As for the looks, it very much reminds me of a supersized gen1 xb, which I used to own.

i love flex too.....all tinted window and slammed on chome wheels it really looks sick!

 

I don't have any plans for it. It will be the family hauler. With that said, it will be kept in top shape and maybe a few cosmetics like tinting the 2 remaining windows and debadging. Other than that I'll probably leave it as is.

the flex isnt bad. I would have to mod it to make it where i would really like it. That black one is sick!! The white one aint bad either. Not my favorite color but not a bad ride choice!! Congrats on the nice ride. The ISis nice but the 250 is slow. IS350 or nothing at all! LOL I cant afford the IS-F even if i want too so thats why i say IS350(i know everyone was gonna say soemthign about that so i had to answer for future reference)

 

I'm starting to see them more and more on the streets! They are NICE indeed!
