Default Funny as hell! Stupid kid gets 350Z

Okay its a bit off topic but i dont have enough post to access other areas of scion life.
here goes.

http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?threadid=141089

Long post, just ranting about this ____ kid who knows nothing about cars but has a brand new Z

My friend w/ a wrx called me today and asked if I wanted to meet up for a photoshoot. He says he knows someone w/ a new 350z. So we go there to meet up, and as soon as I pull up there is this 15 year old kid there. Apparantly he is the one with the new z So as soon as I get out my car the kid comes up to me and says "My car is more of a sports car yours is a luxury car". I know this is true to some extent but I could tell by the way he said it he know nothing about cars and he was saying it in a tone that was meant to imply his car is better.I contemplate whether or not I should try to explain to this ignorant kid that it's basically the same freakin car, but decide not to.

So we start talking and the kid goes on to say he is going to have 500 hp in a couple months. I ask him what kind of turbo/supersharger setup he is planning on and he has a blank look on his face. So I ask what mods he is putting on there, and he looks away from me and says he is putting "everything on there". He goes on to say that the dealership said they would charge him $900 bucks and do it for him. At this point I am trying not to laugh. I tell him he isnt gonna get 500 hp w/ anything less than 8 grand and he kinda just blows it off like I am lying to him.

OK, so then we drive to the empty parking lot to take the photos. This kid obviously doesn't know what a break in period is, and beats the crap out of his engine. Hopefully he will get what's coming to him. So as we are taking the pics we get into a conversation about auto vs manual. He is trying to say his tiptronic is better and faster than my 6 speed, and I try to explain to him how tiptronic is not true manual and can't shift as fast and how auto cars get less hp to the wheels, but I don't think he understood a word I said. Then during the photoshoot he randomly starts driving around the parking and running the car hard. When he pulled up to us his daddy was ____ed off, and I started laughing. Just wanted to vent. The kid's ignorance really ____ed me off...

Gotta love those kids. Who can blame em? If my daddy bought me a 350z when i was 15, i prob would've said a thing or two that was ignorant. Its ok tho, he mite do something wreckless and ruin his car, but i'm sure his parents will just sport him another one.

Oh boy. I can totally see that kid living near me in one of these stupid rich neighborhoods. Reminds me of the time I listened to a kid try to convince me that turbochargers only work over 60 mph.

a 350Z is not the kinda of car you buy a young kid. It has way too much power, which gives them a lot of potential danger and creates a hazard for other drivers.

There's a 16 year old pizza boy that drives a brand new Subby STI around my town, him and his friend with an srt4 are "racers" or as I like to call them "___s" ...he'll be the next "teen killed in high speed induced car wreck" case

oh how I wish my mommy and daddy were rich and could buy me brand new cars at the snap of a finger

We're all in danger of these young fools! Trying to show off and they will likely not kill themselves but innocent drivers. Some parents should be shot for doing something so stupid!

It would be ecstatic if someone with a POS-looking sleeper found this kid, whooped him like no one's business on video, and posted it for all the world to see. Or at least a picture of this kid crying while his daddy hugs him, with a mangled Z on fire in the background.

it's kids like this that jack up the insurance rates for young male drivers. Kids getting cars that are way to fast for their skill level and lack of experience. His wake up call will most likely be slamming into a curb after spinning out or a hefty speeding ticket.

I agree with you guys about young kids and sporty cars most of the time, some teens have a past in motorsports and are more mature because of it and can have sporty cars to start with. Ive seen it happen numerous times.

Oh and I would me more than happy to race this guy. hehe
