Default how to make an element look like an xB

here's honda's answer...
the element sc prototype

An Element for urban achievers: Yes, Honda really said that, whatever that means. Later this year the company will introduce the production version of the Element SC Prototype, an Element meant to appeal to a more style conscious and performance oriented Element buyer. The SC is lowered three inches, rides on 21 inch aluminum wheels, and its 2.4-liter four gets a 10 hp boost, to 166 hp. Other modifications include custom front bumper and grille, an aero body kit, projector-beam headlamps. Inside, Honda has added a center console and unique trim. In addition to dual airbags, standard equipment also includes front passenger's side airbags, vehicle stability assist, and ABS. Pricing and sales plans will be announced this fall.

Hey! The Element looks better with paint on it.

It took them this long to figure that out.

Heh, not bad looking but definitely not a car for budget-minded folks! Thank god this model fixes the seatbelt issue for the back passengers.

I've been seeing more and more around here with color-matched panels... they look better that way.

The front seat belts were in the door. So rear passenger exit required you to un-buckle your belt, open your door, to open the rear suicide door. Now it is only two steps instead of one.

All things aside, I have always liked Honda's and looks like they finally got this right. I always felt that the Element & xB were compared because they ultimately were perfect for the urban dweller.

I really like the new headlights & revised front end. To anyone who has come in contact with one, they are soundly made. If I was in the market for another box... it would be a tough choice if Honda actually made this a consumer possibility.

my main problem with them other than the ugliness is their horrible gas mileage and slowness.

I just opened my email and had a message on this from Honda. I actually like the color. It'd look better on the xB, tho....then let the UPS mods begin.

Why is it called the Element SC but does not have a supercharger? 10 whole hp increase I was thinking that is a crappy S/C.

It looks much better fully painted. If I, or a family member, ever got one, I would have gotten the plastic sanded and painted.

21" wheels look nice though.

What an improvement with the whole body painted, but if they are wanting to compete with Scion, their base price is way too high already, bet this will add 4k to it. Like the wheels tho.

Why 21" wheels ? 20's are cheaper and by the time this hits the road so will 22's. Looks like this may roll out on 15" wheels like every other commuter car and doubtful this will start @ $16K, no competition for the xB. Furthermore the revamp of the xB will have the 2.4L tC motor anyway, so once again, look out Honda ..

That's one sweet ride, but I'd still get an XB over it. More bang for the buck.

the element is crazy in price, this car looks ok, but its going to be a mid 20k car or higher... i used to work at a honda dealership when they first came out, and the base price was like 16k, now they are like 19k... way too much, i dont care if it has a fold out table or not
