Thats Funny, I was at the BK LOUNGE druve thrue and i saw an older civic with a Custom FORD license plate cover. I mean it was chrome with 2 big FORD logos on them. I also saw a Malibu with the scion plate. It just shows you the Ricyness of life and it makes me giggle inside. LoL

This isn't an Si, so in this case tC> Civic.

Give some of we Civic owners a break: not all of us do things like this and I've seen a lot of tC owners do some pretty dumb ___ things too.

 

If I had a non-Si Civic, I'd wish I had a tC too

 

Why do you say the Si is superior to the tC? I hear people say this all the time but it doesn't seem like anyone gives a reason. AFAIK the tC has better (actually, it seems it's nearly equal) straight-line performance and has a lot more torque down low and doesn't need to revved to 9k to get peak horsepower (which makes that 190 no better than our 160).

However, yes, a Si would probably destroy a stock tC in the twisties. Well, not "destroy," but Honda seems to make their stock suspensions a little less buick-y than Toyota. It also appears it has a 6-speed rather than a 5-speed, and a standard LSD. Good things.

 

I love my tC, but I know it's not as good as my friends 07 Si

I meant no offense to the tC: I love the tC, and had I not ended up with an Si, I would've bought or traded in the EX for a tC.

I'm just saying that the Si can't really be compared to the naturally aspirated tC in almost sense. I don't think the tC was built to compete with the Si, to be honest, but moreso the normal Civics.
