Modding the Evo now lawlz
Ordered some parts from Buschur Racing in Ohio. Pretty basic stuff starting out with..
Turboback exhaust, catless
Cone filter kit
manual boost controller
30-0-30 boost guage and steering column pod
::: (factory boost gauge reads bar and doesnt go high enough)
and a base flash.
I'll be looking at roughly 330awhp up from around 240-250, which the IX's usually run base. I'll know for sure just what gains were made when I go in to get tuned. Yay.

yes to the gauge question. 30 vac to 30psi.
The IX's can hit 300awhp with just a custom tune and a manual boost controller set to ~22psi. It's absolutely disgusting how much potential these cars have.

Yah they come from the factory so conservatively. I was really thinking about buying one but the interior/dash is just absolute junk. I still do think they're one of the best looking cars though!
Make sure to post up some dyno sheets once you get it all finished!

I like the Evo's, however the added cost of having a stock turbo is too much for me. I'd rather take a car with a good 2.4 or 2.5L motor, and put a turbo on it, avoiding the cost of the insurance.
