Default My subbbieee updated....

Sold the tC about a year and a half picked up a subie for my sister, she ended not wanting it cause it killed gas because she commuted 30 minutes away. Well here it is now haha...

Mods:
Tanabe gf210 lowered 1.5 in the front and 1 in the rear
s204 replica lip
55W 6000k HID
LED daylights
LED license plate bulbs
STi axelback
20% tint all around
17x8 Rota torques

That's about it, just trying to keep it simple and clean. All I have left are side skirts, rear apron, 04-05 tails, maybe new rims and coilover kil i dunno im going to be trading in for an STi next year so I don't want to do much.

Haha dude if only I cared about power mods.... It's a 2.5i... the tragic part is that it's an auto! haha I originally bought it for my sister but she got an accord like a month later, had I known I would've picked up a wrx in stick =[.

Anyways you do anything to your subie yet? I'm on nasioc and i-club as PaulWalker. I might be in the same dilemma as you were in, I'm going to be trading it next year for either a 06-07 sti or s2k who knows haha.

They don't make anything performance for a 2.5i... All we can do is put an exhaust on haha. There is a short ram and cold air, but supposedly it messes with the maf sensor which could result in lag while accelerating. Even to get the subie rumble I would have to get a 02-05 wrx, sti, or rep borla unequal length header and a 3" catback to get it welded onto since I have no up-pipe =/ Which is only a nice change in sound for $500 haha. EL header FTL =[

I'm on Nasioc, ClubWRX and IWSTI, but I only post on Nasioc and ClubWRX. Not planning on doing much to the Rex, just roof rack and RallyArmor so far. I'm probably just going to get a TBE and Accessport for the extra 70whp, and that's about it.

I aint tripping, I got use to driving automatic and when I driving from norcal to socal, im not the only one driving, infact I'm never the one driving anymore. =] Since I knew I had to get an auto for my sister I deliberately picked the 2.5i cause I know she does not want to spend money on premium, pay more insurance, etc.

Nice, I wanted rallyarmor flaps too. I just picked up some sideskirts for $20. I actually bought a WRB WRX trunk for $20 last week off a dude who didnt have space in his garage, and I sold it for $150 =D

I never thought I'd like Rota's on anything other than a Honda, but the Torques look good!

Foreal, 3/4 of the subie community roll on rotas! haha like seriously. Unlike here, we don't get bashed for having "cheap" rims.

I'm in NC, there aren't too many subies out here. Most that I see have the factory BBS wheels. Out here, most Rotas are found on Honda's. I just sold my Honda and had Rota's on it.

Damn most of them must be sti's than haha. Because only the 2004 wrx came in 5x100 bolt pattern with the stock bbs. The 2005-2007 Sti's were in 5x114.3 with the stock bbs. If a 02-07 Wrx has them on, then they must've dropped $900 on them haha. Too steep for me =/
