Hi all, John Neff here from Autoblog. We received these pics from a reader today and we can't figure out what they're of. Some have speculated it's the next generaton Scion xB, and considering that was revealed to a select group of Scion owners late last week, I was hoping someone who has actually seen the new Scion xB could verify whether or not this is it. Please follow the link and leave a comment on the post regarding what you think this vehicle is. Our guess is that it's a next gen JDM Honda of some sort because it looks too much like an Element, but the badge on the grille is an oval.

I would venture to say no, after all of the descriptions from the revealing, this doesnt even look anything like the new XB.

it looks like a honda. but if the logo is ovalish.. could be nissan.

Front end Looks interesting. Maybe it's a new SUV by Izuzu?

 

isuzu doesn't really have a logo does it?

I thought Honda at first because those tall vertical tail lights look really JDM Honda, but that grill does not match the direction that Honda is going at all.

Maybe it's an extremely watered down version of Fords SYN concept. Oval badge and and 3 row grill (Edge, Fusion, etc.). Very typical for American companies to wimp out on their concepts, right?

Defnitely not a Scion...lol I'm really surprised that an Autoblog guy would even consider it!

BTW, how do you know it's JDM?

 

definitely not the new xB... the main thingi remember seeing on the new box is a single reverse light on the driver side, and that white one doesnt have that

the new box looks cooler anyways

 

It says in the article that they know its JDM because it's right hand drive.

 

Hi i forgot what is is, but it was shown in TV weeks ago, its a concept car, like the whole body came from a whole piece of aluminum. (i think)

There's nothing about that car that excites me - pretty ugly actually - but I'm still curious to know what it is.

 

It looks like a Nissan. Really resembles the Armada. Perhaps it is a new Infiniti? They have oval logos...don't know how JDM they get but hey. It's an idea. Never been to Japan so I don't know

It looks like the VW EuroVan and the Lexus GX had a ugly child.. I think its a Land Rover, the emblem really looks like it. But it would have to be their idea of a joke.

 

Have you considered advertising? It would seem only fair if you want to capture and drive viral marketing traffic from this site to Autoblog exclusively.
