When I was looking at cars I checked that out, but it hurt my back on the test drive.

 

It takes just the right seting. On my test drive I know what you mean, then I adjusted the seat just right & its not that bad.

The bB eblem went with the car & the hubs are going to the guy who bought my stock wheels.

Yeah, also cant forget the Chevy Aveo, The suzuki Forenza & the Rino are all rebadge Daewoos

That it is, but I have just teh FWD version. Still to young to want to sport around a slush box (automatic).

The power is nice. The gearing is almost perfect. Just about the same features as the xA/xB have. I also like the make over they got for 05+.

& the gauge cluster has changed. Its now analog gauges vs that old digital style.

Almost getting run over by just about any car while trying to pull into traffic is not fun. Traffic behind me would get ____ed because I was waiting for the best times to pull into traffic, when yet if I only had a little more power I could have pulled out sooner. You never know what your missing until you no longer have it. Now the thing I will be missing is the gas milage

All & all, its a nice car. It competes with the xA & xB. Has just about some features, more power & more cargo room. Im not talking about stacking things up, I still like to be able to see out my rear window. The tires I have in the back seat, in the xB took up I would guess a good 65% of the usable cargo area. With the SX, as you can see, I still have room to toss in 6 more tires if I wanted to. The only draw back? The after market for the car is very little. A CF Hood & springs are about all that will fit the 06 still. Its a good thing I know a shop around here who is going to make a Intake & exhaust for me. Just need to wait tell tax return.

resale is crap. and yeah. cheaper car overall. if u mod the xa/xb it will own many aerio.

 

No offense, but as someone who has put almost 50K on their xB already, if you were having that much trouble getting into traffic I can't see it being the car's fault. I pass people on the on-ramp taking the long side of the turns...

But enjoy it if it works for you.

 

Thats pick up & go while already moving. Trying to go from a dead stop into traffic moving at rates of 55+mph & the biggest gap is about 100ft apart is not much. Also the vast amount of ppl seem to speed up when they see you turning onto the road. I to was able to pass ppl on the out side lane & inside lane around turns. Many ppl seem to take corners much slower that what is really needed. It was fun doing 60mph around this corner while guys in mustangs slowed down to 50 for it. It just depends on how fast one wants to try & go around the corner.

Also it seems like you have on ramps to your free way, high way. Interestate 98 runs right along out side the base & up and down many areas here. The best thing to do, find a stop light that lets you on. If you cant, your stuck crossing 2 lanes of traffic & trying to punch that little engine for all its worth. I try not to be a @$$ & pull out in front of ppl, making them hit there breaks. I hate it when ppl do it to me, so I try not to. In the xB I could have pulled out many times, but then ppl would have been slaming on there brakes or just slaming into me.

What kind of mods you talking about? I want to know where these magic mods are. What does it take to make a stock 18sec 1/4 mile car run in the 16.2sec range? I could see maybe in a pull from 0-30 where the xB gearing pulls + the aerio would probably have traction issues. As for resale, Im just happy it aint a rebadged daewoo.

Its a 15" with a 195/55R15 tire. I would go bigger, the thing is rubbing issues. It seems if you want to drop the car any, your stuck to a 6.5" wide wheel with a 205 series tire, or you get major rubbing issues.

 

i have intake , header , exhaust and was running 15.9. since i've added weapon r damper , irids ,

oh and my car's quite adequate from a dead stop.

MSRP: $19,100 + ~$400 dealer fee + 6% tax + other florida fees = ~$20,700. Thats about $4k out of my price range. Also from reviews, the Base modle & XR are a better daily drivers. In the reviews its not a bad car, unless your in bumper to bumper where the low end torque, 6spd & clutch engagement can tire you out . Also the whole need of premium gas is a turn off.
