I just ordered mine yesterday morning. Test drove one earlyer this week and just fell in love with it. Same exact setup as yours, but it's going to take my dealer a month tops to get it in. : ( I'm dying here!

The DSG transmition on the GTi is 200 times better then this setup on the Fit.

The DSG transmition shifts into the next gear in 8 milliseconds, faster then any other system available, even ferrari. It also does not have a torque converter which truely makes it a manual transmition.

The Fit's transmition is automatic (with a torque converter) with some pretty little paddles to make you think it's more complex then it really is. Instead of moving the gear selector up and down (like most tiptronic setups), you press paddles.

You will be able to shift faster with the manual transmition then his tiptronic "paddle" setup, definately.
then i'll see it for myself whether the paddle shifting is faster or the manuel is faster

Why would you get a Versa? Its just Nissan's answer to the Mazda 3! Nice Fit! You should put this one Mugen bodykit on it. Not sure wat its called. Any1 hav the link for Mugen so I can find a pic.

While I'm a huge fan of the K24 with Type S head, there's really no reason for a K24 in this car. A stock K20 would provide more than enough power and torque to make a Fit soul-crushingly fast. Even more so with bolt-ons/cams/Hondata. Hahaha, ~270hp NA in a little Fit! Buh-bye S2000!

some aftermarket company is havin trobule puttin in a k20 in the fit they have to modify the frame and all that stuff in the front end it not easy puttin 1 on...its not like u can just slap 1 on and thats it ...

When is an engine swap ever easy? But yeah, the k20 swap is difficult and expensive.

I think an easier swap would be an R18 swap. They make 140hp, get 30mpg city/ 40 mpg hwy, and should be very cheap (since they are in every new 8th gen Civic dx,lx, and ex). It also a little smaller, so perhaps it will be an easier swap.

Yeah, I've already read all about it on Temple of VTEC, still the fact of the matter is people are still going to swap them. And like I said, a K20 provides more than enough torque for a car of that size. There's no reason for a K24 in there.

I noticed (and I'm sure many of you out there have noticed this as well) that the xB can do the same seat arrangments (except Tall Mode) as the Fit. For example, taking off the front headrests, pushing the seat forward and then reclining the seatback horizontally, I got Refresh Mode, and then folding down the back seat, I got Long Mode. Interesting... I would like to see an upgraded interior (w/ driver side gauges) on the next gen xB though. To the guy who wants to see a Mugen Kit....
