I was reading through the NAIAS preview section on MSN and came across this under the Toyota section.

"In addition to the Avalon, Toyota will debut an all-new crossover concept. Return to MSN Autos for more information about both vehicles after the Toyota press conference on January 10, 2005. "

Wasnt the CCX (tC concept) shown for the first time in Detroit? What does everyone think? Any chance this new concept could be a preview of a new Scion?

True, so true. It will be a small SUV. I mean they have the eco four door car, the Waggon, and the Sport Coupe/hatch. A small Murano SUV would only make sense.

 

i don't think that the ccx will be the next scion
i think we are going to get something simmilar to the porte
but i dunno just imo

but scion wouldn't do that cause then they'd have to charge $$$ for it and that wouldn't be the scion tradition.....value at a low price....

 

That would be awesome. Don't expect if from Scion though. Waaaaay to out of the target demographic's price range.

 

i wish they would just release the info already, so i can figure out if i'm gonna wait for it to come out, or buy a car sometime soon. oh well. i guess their tactics work, because i'm here waiting.

 

I thought the ccx was the 2004 prius concept!
but in the dealer ship zine "Toyota Today" when scion was first comming out!
they had the ccx in the blue print of the scion show room!
the xcc concept is about 2 years old now and i thought it was just written off as the prius concept" but the fact is there is a direct link to ccx and scion!
so maybe!

the open deck was discontinued a couple of years ago.

 

dunno, never like the ccx. i was actually afraid when they were talking about that being the next scion. bleh. i does look a lot like a prius.
