Rednecks DSM thread... More fail less doors!
Started life as a 98 RS, received a 97 GST (7 bolt ftl) transplant... crankwalked, got built 6 bolt, only on 8lbs currently... needs moar fuel management!

I still have the saturn, but because of all. The problems and setbacks I had putting it together I don't have enough time to get it race ready for the lemons race... so its currently in my back yard under a tarp
Crankwalk is just side to side movement of the crank, on the 7 bolt dsm motors the factory used an odd bearing/crank journal combo and it resulted in a little play in the crank, under boost and at high rpm that play is multiplied and the crank tends to move a lot, normally results in rod knock if it goes transmissin siide or it shuts the motor down if it goes towards the front of the engine, because it hits and destroys a crank sensor
