Scion xR?
Motor Trend has listed on their SPIED page a sighting of the 2009 Scion xR, a rally-inspired sedan. There is no photo or other information, just a line that reads:
2009 Scion xR: Four-door, rally-inspired car.

I've recently concluded that automags are usually horrible at guessing what Toyota will produce.
Their spy pics are usually awful PS, and that recent avalon fish looking blundermobile was a joke. Without any evidence to back up their claim, I'll listen and give them props if they are right, but other than that I take it with a grain of salt.
A rally car? That would be nice tho. . . hey, maybe that's why they bought out GM's stake in Subaru?

the idea of the xa becoming a rally car makes sense with the center mount gauges ride height. i've heard rumors of the they were going to use the matrix but maybe they plan on just using the matrix drivetrain system. which has been proven before in the gt-four celica and all-trac celica. the rumor i head was the newer 3sgte which we haven't gotten yet with vvti. be nice if we do get it with a manual transmission.
