Sold my TC
Well, the sad day has come and I had to sell my 2005 TC. The engine was starting to give out and I had to get out of it and into another car while it still ran.
If anyone wants to know the car only had 73k, but I was in a front fender collision a couple years ago and they fixed the cosmetics and said nothing was wrong internally. I found it not acting right, but time and time again Toyota said there was nothing wrong. My hunch is that there was something wrong and they missed it, but I will never know for sure if it was accident, me, or dumb luck that caused the engine to go bad.
I ended up purchasing a 2007 Mazda 6, so I left the Scion Family. I will forever love Scions and Scionlife. Which brings to question?
Does anyone know of a good website that supports Mazda 6 or Mazdas in general such as good ol' Scionlife? I want a site that it easy to navigate and find how-tos, parts, classified, etc such as this site. So far I have only found Mazda6club.com, but the site does not seem to respond to everything that I click on or it is a blind link. Any help is appreciated. Even a site with discount parts would be great to find, other than eBay.

congratulations on the 6. Thats a real car with actual sound deadening material included. I drove the 06 i believe a hour before I test drove, picked out my scion. I was sad at the driving experience difference, but it wore off quickly when confronted with the 10,000 more price tag. Nice car.
^^above why would you buy a 3 over a 6, no, tell me. Speed makes the 3 better, but you still know its a 3.

Unfortunately I only got the 2.3L 6. It was used in perfect condition with a lot of additions and leather seats and I was in need of a cheap car cause I just bought my wife a new RAV4 and couldn't afford much more of a payment. I got the car for under 12K w/ just 29K miles on it. So I couldn't pass it up. Not much power but it is comfortable. I do miss the TC though.
GOINGCARCRAZY--- it was making a ticking noise, like a ball-bearing sound. I thought it was my pulley assembly, but I took it to a couple of mechanics and found that the noise was coming directly from my engine. I also noticed that I started to stall a lot in the past couple weeks. I've had the car almost 5 years and I've stalled it maybe twice. So I knew something was up. When it was cold the engine seemed to vibrate more than usual as well. Hope you have better luck with your issues.
If I had enough $$ I would definitely like a speed3 or speed6. But I'll deal with my 6 2.3L now and get about the same MPG as the TC. Of course if I had the money I might just have to buy another new TC and slap a turbo in it!
