Default Sorry but I will be switching to hyundai.

With the genesis comming out and the coupe concept. I will be leaving my tC for the hyundai. Hyundai is going to give the US market what we've been craving for years.

I don't know how many people have been asking for an affordable FRD car in the US. Since the late 80s/early 90s there haven't been any.

Hyundai blows?
Yeah, lol.
You wait.
In the 70's they said that ____ about Toyota, Nissan, and Honda too.
Looks who's laughing.
The new Hyundai Genesis is going to be a great deal for those with their heads NOT in their asses and the other makers will start to worry.
Hyundai has come a long way.
Now they've arrived.

Rumors say that the new Celica will be RWD and inexpensive.
Hyundai has come a long way. But, they're still a ways off when it comes to Toyota. The Tiburon is nice look'n but its slow and heavy.

the new celica has been rumored for I don't know how long. Besides I'd have to go with an all trac over a rwd.

I also doubt a RWD/all-trac celica would be in the same price range. The last gen celica was already waaay over-priced.

300 hp FRD v6, or a 200+ Turbo/intercooled FRD I4, for 22-28k

That link to the silver one-it looks like a mercedes was rearended by an RSX or small BMW and they just kinda patched it together form there.

As far as Hyundai, my GF has aSonata w/ the v6-that car is quick! We also had a window wiper fluid motor go out and they fixed it right on the spot-no questions and while they were there they fixed a few other minor things as well and did a full lube and oil change for $20).

We thought the problem with the sprayers was just a clogged hose due to the way it was acting and true enough the first dealer wanted a $100 retainer to fix it in case we had tried to modify anything (yeah-super shooters-that's the newest mod ) but the second dealer was awesome. The car has a lot of cool features for not more $$$ (4 wheel disc, moon roof, 250+hp, mp3-etc) compared to a camry or accord

There are some very offical rumors come'n out as of late. Really does look like Toyota is go'n to make a new cheap RWD and AWD car. Not definite wether its a Celica or not, but it seems like they're really working on it.

I dunno. You might be surprised by how inexpensive this new Celica will cost.
As far as the last gen Celica, you can blame the %$#@! dealers for the extremely high prices.
The dealers would only order Celicas with every extra they could get on them. They tried selling them as luxury sports cars which they aren't. I was able to order one spec by spec. Saved quite a bit of money.

If that thing is any less than $40,000, it will be the biggest pile of crap on the market. With that said, I will take a BMW 3-series over a Hyundai any day of the week.
