Default Super-Charged Dodge Viper

Well it has been forever since I have posted on here but I figured I would put a link out there to show off the Viper. As most know I went from my Turbo'd tC to a Dodge Viper, I have now gone the boost route. Enjoy the video.

I will repost links to the videos after I can edit them. Too much incriminating evidence on the videos, I.E. license plate, speed limit posting and such. Will repost here shortly.

I am in the Navy, E5 actually.

Couldn't lay down 2 black lines. These cars are known for kicking to the right when you stomp the gas and I didn't want to end up in the ditch.

if you can't control your car maybe you shouldn;t have it .

all that sideways motion needs is some steering input .

take your car to a safe spot and practice you will feel much more comfortable and be able to show off more !

or take a drifting course at a local raceway , you will come out a much more confident driver and will really have learned quite a bit of usable skills

You have no idea what you are talking about. The sideways motion has NOTHING to do with the steering. It fully has to do with the torque and the tires. They are known for kicking to the right when launching because of their down low torque. I am very comfortable driving my car, not enough to race it, but driving aggressive yes. At 1600 for a set of tires I will not be drifting this vehicle .

Videos will be back up soon. Headed back to the dyno tomorrow hopefully to get new numbers and videos with the supercharger.

dude , what i'm saying is steering input can combat the sideways action .

and with the drifting courses they have you use THEIR cars , you start out with a fwd vehicle skid car then normally move to a miata or mustang gt

it's just a great course to take for anyone wanting to get more comfortable driving a powerful car and it's A LOT of fun !

Latest video, quick editing. Dyno'd the supercharger, 530rwhp 510tq running between 10.2 and 10.5 through the powerband. Still lots of hp to break free after tuning. Estimating about 550-565 after tune. I have headers and roller rockers on the way so those will increase hp as well so the car will be tuned after I install those. Expecting to see 580-600 rwhp on 5psi of boost. I do have a water meth kit but up in the air whether I will use it or not.
Presupercharger dyno was 425rwhp and 460tq catless, full intake, cat back exhaust.

As far as the drifting course, yes it would be possible with this one but there are a lot of factors with this vehicle. For some reason when they are stock if you drop the clutch in 1st or 2nd they really like to spin you out. I believe it is due to the torque and the rear passenger wheel grabbing traction first but it is known and takes time to learn how to combat it. A simple steering action won't suffice. Trust me, I have seen this first hand and it ended bad.

Enjoy the video, I will leave this one up.

(No red valve cover comments, I have a set of powder coated stockers on the way)

I've seen this car in person and its nothing to brag about. The guy that owns it is a total jerk too.

He's afraid to admit my tC is much faster, and better looking.

come on man Amirite???

Should I post the emails from you stating

"Yo man you gotta give me a ride it in!!!"

Lol Ron. You still haven't come over to see how it is now. Weather is getting colder so your gonna have to find a warm day to get a high speed run in.
