hell, most of our cars as they are now are not rockets. go drive a Prius. they have some get up. gives my xD a run and I at least have the intake on the xD.

 

^ROFL Sry but that intake comment it classic! That dont do crap for power and the 04-08 prius' had combined 130+hp and over 350 torque and the new ones have 170+hp combined and 250+ torque combined according to wikipedia.

The xD has 128hp and 125 tq according to wikipedia.

Wasnt trying to start anything. I was just stating facts to the are not fast and they have similar power #'s. If you took it that way then you need to chill. Sorry that the intake thing was funny. It was cause it doesnt do anything.

 

engine response is better with the intake. has nothing to do with HP. but seeing the hate towards hybrids, i guess everyone's Scion on this thread must do 0-60 in...what.....3.5 seconds? stop creating arguments and except the fact they are here to stay. rather than hate them, make them fun. they prolly can be fun.

 

You're the one who brought up how fast the Prius was. I'm the one who proved you wrong. It's not our fault that you've never driven anything with more than 160HP.

No, it's not. It's not fast for what it is. Compared to the Jetta TDI, the Prius takes almost 1 second longer to get to 45, over 1 second longer to get to 60, and over 1 second longer to run the 1/4 mile.

So for what it is, it's beyond slow.

 

it is why I own a Jetta TDI^^^^ and with a Revo tune when it comes out.......

 

i think next test and tune at Zmax we should have a zpi turbo tC vs. Jetta TDI

 

Lets have a Turbo TC vs a Prius and see how fast it really is! LOL The Prius is fast, if your used to turtle speed! And to set the record straight they dont look half bad. With some of the wheels and lipkits pictured I wouldnt mind rocking one other than they are slow! Yes my tC is slow but at least I dont drive like grandma in the slow lane like every Prius does!

 

for living around Chicago, there is no such thing as going anywhere fast. Our traffic is really bad as every highway has construction anyway. so my question is....how fast do you need to go? I bet i can get there as fast as you taking my time....remember, i have both an xD and a xB1. so i'm never in a hurry. low and slow. and with some of these comments coming from xD owners.....all i can do is lol at you guys and your hella fast xD's.....i guess. can;t be any faster than mine as we all have the same crap done to our cars

 

^amen to low and slow and im with voltage prius can look good with wheels and a lipkit but its still a hybrid with no aftermarket support

 

no aftermarket?! are you kidding? you better go back thru the Tokyo Auto Salon pics. the focus WAS hybrids this year. turbo's, exhaust kits, intakes, computer mods....
