si is a good car. just check to see the change in spending on your monthly payments and insurance premiums.

the si's are great cars but if you wanted to upgrade why such a small leap?
unless that is if you love every aspect of the car then go with whatever choice best benefits you

I thought about doing the same thing and I test drove the SI which wasn't bad of course no low end torque. A few days later I test drove an 04' 350Z and it was in the same price range as the SI and that car handled awesome. My point being that in that price range there is slew of nice used cars that otherwise brand new are really expensive and are now affordable.

if you don't mind owning a 3 year old car over a brand new car then the z would be a good choice
those are great overall package:price ratio cars but i need a backseat in my life

Well that depends, MSRP ya, but when I went to the dealer I was able to work the price down to 21,000 from the 24,000 price tag.

When you buy a used sports coupe you always run the risk of it being abused. That said, I'd rather take an 04 or 05 350z over a Civic any day...

The Si is a lot more car than a tC. It has a 197 Hp Engine, Limited Slip, 6 Speed, Better Stereo.

Don't get me wrong, I love tCs. But the Si is faster and imo, nicer. The Si costs at least 4 grand more than a stock tC.

Hmmmm, Isn't the tC supercharger around $4000 installed? Thats a good idea....
