tCtCtC's Honda Fit Build Thread

I loved it enough to buy another one after the first one died
If anyone cares to be filled in, I got into an accident the beginning of this year. Resulted in this hot mess:
I walked away fine besides some soreness, the Fit really did its job. I ended up in a 2012 Tafetta White ten days later, just an automatic this time around. I didn't want to wait the six weeks to order a white manual, oh well lol. Talk all your crap about automatics, but I think the Fit's auto transmission is paired nicely together with the motor. The paddle shifters help out a lot also
Couple more pics of the 2012, getting my fenders rolled, finalizing my drop, and getting alignment done all this week.

Lookin good. Sorry to hear about the accident though but at least your ok.
Nothing wrong with an auto. If the Forester had a 5 or 6spd auto I probably would have ended up in a forester XT rather than my WRX haha.

Thanks haha. Definitely grateful for not getting hurt. I enjoy the auto but I really miss the manual. We'll see what happens in the future
Final height until I get new tires. I'm rubbing on the bumper tab and I don't really want to cut it, so I'll wait for 195's or 205's. Also got it aligned, finally.
Should have more updates in about a month or so, depending on how money goes

I swear, I cant figure out if I love this thing or hate it. Its like my EP3 civic SI... It grows on you. My car looks like a mini-mini van. I am sure you have tons of storage like I do. I have HFP rims, HFP suspension, UKDM stuff from london (only civic chassis brought over here that was built in the UK). Just bought my self a turbo kit, injectors, kpro and some other goodies. Cant wait to get tuned. 280hp 8k redline.. yes please! I am kinda considering getting a fit. Any reason to not get the older body vs the newer one?

The Fit, especially with what I did to the back of it, is pretty much a 4 door EP3 with less power haha. Your build sounds sick!
As far as getting a GD3 over a GE8, it depends what you're looking to do to it. The GD3 has MUCH more aftermarket support (unless you do the JDM conversion...) and it's easier to swap or turbo. The GE8's are a bit faster (and by a bit, I doubt you can actually notice the difference since the car is slow anyways), but I heard that the GD3's handle a bit better. Either way you'll be happy, especially with MPG.
