here's the run down of the car:
~ all electric
~ powered by 6,831 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries
~ 0-60 in 4 seconds
~ frame created by Barney Hatt of Lotus
~ built in lotus factory
~ 250 miles on single charge
~ 13,500 readline
~ 70mph in 1st gear

 

O man, I wouldnt mind driving that, sure as hell beats the prius in 0-60. j/k.

$70k. Read the Wired article, pretty friggin amazing. The copper and steel rotor in the engine is it's only moving part!
This might be exactly what the auto industry needs...

This car is awesome! Performance out of an electric. Definately would be an interesting drive with the two-speed gear box.
