Took the new GT500 to the track this evening......
If you've seen the other thread, you'll notice i bought an 08 GT500 (bone stock). I took it to the local drag-strip this evening for their weekly test and tune. She did exactly what i expected her to do. I knew the car would run 12's and i didn't wanna beat on her at all so i rolled out from the line, NO LAUNCHING at all. so here's how she did:

1/4: 13.30
60': Sh*tty of course, didn't launch her, was always around 2.5-2.9
MPH Trap: ~111
That's with no launch (roll out), granny shifting, and traction control ON. 12's would have been too easy w/o traction control and launching, but i babied it. When i get some suspension/transmission/and traction mods in i'll start launching her.
The wife took many videos, trying to upload to youtube, but 1080P videos take FOREVER! Will update when uploaded.
