tc=totalled about a month ago... new car is an 05 IIP Matrix XRS..

so far all ive got in it..

my rs3 shift **** from my tc.
lowered on tein s.techs
6k HID's
s2k antenna
painted oem 17in wheels

soon. my d3 should be installed... cant find the right harness as of now..






while i was painting my rims..

 

I'm not sure if I like the Matrix... not yours specifically I mean, all of them. Just feels like it can't decide what it is.

Crazy wheel color though. Not my style... but that's why its your car!

 

do you miss the low end torque? :D

 

i mainly got it for the motor... but yea i plan on reding out the tail lights... i def want an exhaust...

I almost bought one of these back in 05 when I was looking for a new car. I always liked the 1st gen Matrix XRS. How's the acceleration over the tC? Does it rev as high on the highway as the tc tranny?

 

Nice. Not feeling the wheels but i always had a sft spot for the 1st gen matrix. Nice choice in the xrs. wish they couldve put that motor in the tc or at least the 6-speed. although it couldve had more torque.

 

yea i miss the low end but i love LIFT!! haha... but yea at 80 on highway im at 3500rpm's... i can hit 90 in 3rd gear..

 

might have been 80... i dont remember... i was testing lift lol

Go thru a tunnel with the windows rolled down while in lift. *wink*

 

That makes me miss my GT-S.. Such a nice motor, had to hit lift once a day. Very very addicting.
I had a major trouble with C60 trans once.. Bad synchro made my 3rd gear pop out. I've heard very few other ppl got into similar problem.. hope that doesn't happen to ya.

I personally love the interior of the matrix. It's sweet. Definitely a unique wheel color choice you got there.

 

i def diggin it man....the colors just make it that more fun i guess hahaha take care of this one MR....

and i know if i miss your tc you def do too....

thinkin about getting the red tails from teh older years...

matrix did teh same as the tc... older ones had all red, then newer ones had clear..ugh

 

hahahahaha.....idk i kinda like the clear...but ummm i guess get the red ones and tint those....shrugs
