Who says the RSX and TC can't get along?

I agree, the body kit on the RSX does not help it. You can really tell how much newer the tC's design is. The lines on it look tighter and more cohesive. I think Acura should dump the pointy looking beaks on their cars that are starting to look old.
Can't wait to see the next version of the RSX. I'm sure the competition from the tC will surely inspire them to do a hard design push to fight back.

Yeah I really like both cars as well. The tC is a better value than the base RSX, but the Type S is a better performer than both by a decent margin. I really don't see how someone could like one and hate the other. Both have a ton in common with very few differences (aside from looks). One is a little heavier, but with more low end torque, one is a bit more agile and light, but with less low end power. Both Japanese, both quality, both accelerate roughly the same 0-60, both in the same class of car, both loaded with similar standard features, why fight over which one is better?
You can't say which is actually better aside from personal preference. Neither has a superiority in any way over the other. Type S is superior, but it is in a different class so it's irrelevant.

did you know the nsx is the most expensive japanese new car sold in america? some can argue its the r34 skyline gtr vspec 2 imported by motorex, but thats out of production.
for the price of a rsx type s, you can get a standard wrx.

But yeah, anyway, it's not really about the badge in a sense. The reason i picked a tC over a Civic, RSX, everything else is that it just made no sense to buy anything else. Civic EXs cost more if you want the same features that come standard on the tC (ior pretty close to it). Cost for the regular RSX was like 4K more. Which i figured.. if i just put that 4K into the tC i could even roll with the Type-Ss. Anyway, yeah, i wish i could drive an NSX. See what the hype is about. They seem slightly overpriced to me.

i was strongly considering an rsx, but only a type-s model. i cannot stand getting anything less because when driving it, i would always wish i spent just a little more to get the better model. the only problem with the rsx-s is that it takes 91 octane fuel and cost 5 grand more than my 18 grand tC. i wanted a car that was fun, reletively cheap, and got good gas milage and NOT have to buy premium anymore. i hated having to fill up as much as 2.75$ a gallon or more with my eclipse. if the RSX-S could be had for 18 grand, i'd consider it since the milage would be good anyway, but thats even cheaper than the BASE 05s, and 23 grand (likely 25k+ out the door) was just too much for me right now. the 05 civic Si was a potential candidate for about 5 seconds till i realized how much i hated looking at it... ^_^
