Wo!, damn thats ugly.

Oltre Fiat concept
Another car launched at in Bologna was the Oltre Fiat show car, a straight-edged off-roader that has already been chosen for use by the British and Italian armed forces. Tipping the scales at a hefty seven tonnes, the show car measures a generous 4870mm long by 2200mm in width, and is based on the Iveco LMV (Light Multirole Vehicle). The design is focussed for optimum off-road performance, its silhouette defined by the straight wheelarches and generous cabin length, while details include recessed door-handles that don't get knocked when crushing the countryside. 500mm of ground-clearance allows it to wade through water up to 1.5m deep when a snorkel is attached. It is powered by a 3-liter four cylinder engine, producing 185PS and torque of 456Nm. Top speed is 130km/h.
Not only ugly, but most of it's "features" are either un-usable or un-reachable. The "styling" is horrid and the ergonomics are ridiculous.

you know . . . . i'd rock that, ya it may look funky, but people thought the same thing about the xB. You'd definatly stand out of the crowd with that one, thats for sure! And i like the whole bling bling transformer look too
Just think this is Fiat's attempt to overthrow the Hummer H1. Aside from it probably being slightly smaller, more manuverable, more fuel efficient and cheaper it tanks (in a bad way) in capability compared to the Hummer. Nice try Fiat, maybe China can do better.
However, I can see Middle Eastern and some African nations as well as the EU militaries out of spite clamoring to buy it. And 182hp is pretty good for a 3l 4 cylinder diesel, I wonder if they grabbed the motor from TATA? Probably not though since Fiat stakes their reputation on making cheap, good diesel engines themselves.
