These guys thought I was bluffing about my friend's 750WHP Prelude, he doesn't have an EXACT number, but his set up can go to over 900. He has a 150 shot direct nitrous system. They wanted me to prove it, so I am.

 

That whp in a FWD car is about as stupid as strapping a 20hp briggs to a kids trike with a plastic front tire haha.*LOL*




But is it damn cool..? Hell yeah.... But I think I would wanna drive the trike more

Yea, he doesn't have traction, ran 12s while spinning all the way. LOL, not bad for a guy who doesn't have a LSD. Crazy, you would think when he got to 400, he would do that?

LOL, it was like 7 pages or something, plus I wanted it to stick out, haha. This car is so nice man, used to have dents ALL OVER with a yellow ___ paint job, now it's seriously in mint condition, the body that is, haha. I'm sure he will be in a magazine soon.

 

12's with 750 whp *LOL* that is funny shiz man. A guy on the mr2 boards ran a 10.6 @ 133 running 425whp hahaha. Man tail draggers with that much power are just pointless but fun to drive! Could not imagine spinning in 5th at 130mph haha.

 

Yea, he has blown his motor SOOOO many times, he hasn't for awhile, so he's doing it right. I like the car tho. I wish I had pics of my friend's 500WHP Civic Hatchback that is like 900 lbs lighter than our cars.

Actually, this is the ONLY pic he has. I never seen it in person tho.

 

Like I said, he doesn't have a LSD AND we live in Colorado. My time is pretty bad as my best is 15.02. I'm sure when he tweaks it out, he will be in easy 10s.

 

that much hp in a front wheel drive car might be hard for a daily driver, but there are awesome civic drag race cars with over 800 hp that make amazing times down the strip.

A buddy of mine has a 96 si running 611hp on stock cams...

I dont like civics but his is clean, really well done, I belive he is running the GT40 Turbo.







He also owns an xB, might even be on these boards...

 

Oh I give mad respect to the build and dedication, and has to be insane to drive, just funny to me about that much power in a tail dragger is all. Very insane.

maybe you should have said that when he boosts the car pulls alot of G's

Oh, and since we are on the subject of "my friends/buddies car", I have a buddy with a 542whp Scion tC. Just for the record, he really IS my buddy, I was there during the build, I will have vids of it soon, and will be meeting up with him this Sat. for our club cookout.
