Default 06 Scion tC vs 06 Infiniti G35

Well I was cruising on the freeway two nights ago...when a souped up G35 creeped behind revving his engine and stuff...i had my friend and her sister in the car...at first I didn't wanna try to run because I thought i was gonna get eaten alive... but yeah seeing as I had just put in my new Fujita Cold Air Intake I decided to try..so yeah we hit a sharp turn on the freeway when we both went at it..i top out the 4th gear moving onto the 5th as i took him... I was amazed!! I mean I beat a G35... dude...he pulled and then we went at it again... by the way I just got a Cold Air Intake and and a Magnaflow Exhaust...but yeah all i remember was hitting a turn going like 125 when he decided to let me go and just slow down...so yeah I BEAT A G35!!! :D :D :D but I'm happy the way my car ran that night....maybe it was because I took it to the dealer and got the full tune done... yes yes yes!!! by the way....I got two witnesses to prove it!!

So yeah let me know what you guys think...took one for the tC Members!!!

i'm guessing the guy was not fully trying or something....with the information you provided (you having a CAI and a magnaflow exhaust) i dont see how a tC could beat a g35.

also not sure that i would be boasting about going 125mph on the freeway, you are VERY lucky nothing bad happened to you, your passengers or any other innocent bystanders.

I was driving a g35 just last week for a few night and i can only say that car will rape a tc. Granted the car did have a fully greddy catback and a 350z cold air intake. The car just pulled harder and the sound is the best ever.

125mph, your 19, with passengers. I'm sorry but don't take this personally, stupidity.
Seriously, not something to be proud of.

G35 is +/- 300hp stock - you said this is modded...

1) He wasn't trying

2) You're an idiot and its too bad a cop didn't get you

3) He's an idiot too but at least wasn't crazy enough to beat you (which would have been easy) and probably kill himself while he was at it - he deserves to get caught by the cops too.

They really need to move the licensing age up...kids are just dumb, this is aggrivating. A friend of mine was killed 2 years back as an innocent bystander when 2 idiots such as yourself and the G35 clipped him on the back on I-95 in Connecticut. He was going about 65, they were going 105. He went into the wall and after flipping, etc....the racers were arrested and one charged with murder....just something to think about

the G35 has some under 6sec 0-60 time as opposed to the tC which had 7.8? you got lucky, it would have been cool to see it though, i got to see a skyline badged g35 race a TL and it was a "pretty" good match

i have beaten my friends g35 coupe Automatic up to 100mph and then he pulls on me. Thats both from a roll and from a dig. A stick g35 would definetly beat me. The sedan would probably be a little slower especially with AWD

well i was cruising on the freeway two nights ago with my foot barely touching the gas pedal...when I started pulling up on a tC with a fart can. I wanted to stay away from him because he was a young kid that had two teeny-boppers in the car with him and he had the "I'm with girls, so I need to show off" look about him. I press the pedal a bit to change lanes and next thing you know, his car started farting and burping! I guess he wanted to show off his cold air intake. ..so yeah we hit a sharp turn on the freeway, so I let off the gas shifted to 5th and turned on my cruise control to 55. The kid gets a little bit ahead and I think to myself, "Oh good, he can stay in front where I can keep an eye on him. " Next thing you know, I start catching up to him again and his car burped and farted AGAIN! ... I bet he thought that he was really cool with his Dragon Ball Z haircut, but judging by how the girls were rolling their eyes, they must not have been so impressed. Remember kids, it's not a race if only one person is speeding.

Kinda hard to belive a tC with I/E beat a G35, maybe the G35 driver backed off because of the speeds you guys were goin.

Kid,
There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity.

Its a lot of fun and adrenaline driving fast ( My license is hardly spotless )

Two things though:

1 you DONT have the experience at 19 to drive that fast ( or at any age unless you enroll in some advanced driving classes at a track )

2 this is a biggie NEVER EVER DRIVE AT HIGH SPEED WITH FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS.

A friend from school who was a rich kid crashed his Opel GSI with his brother and 2 friends in it, it rolled and went on fire.
all of them got out exept the brother........he burned to death and there is a bench at my old high school with his name on it. Simon Taylor RIP

Yep, it is one thing to risk your own life, another thing to risk the lives of others, much less w/o their desire to die!
