I have a megan racing catback on my car.. I just raced a 1.8t last night, and i killed the crap out of him!! He flew by me blowing me off and we stopped next to each other at a red light. Right when it hit green, i launched my car, and killed him by a bus or 2 by the time i was in 4th gear.. I was soo excited!! He had his girlfriend in the car, and i had my best bud in my car..

 

I remember my first kill. My friend has a 01 Honda Civic value package ver. with AEM V2 intake, Greddy Catback, underdrive pullies, cam gear, and Nxpress 50shot. His nitrous wasn't hooked up, but this was also before I did anything to my car. Now he wants a rematch with the bottle. Bring it on!

 

nice nice, did u tke tht silencer out, im sure w/ the silencer out itll help more considerin the megan's silencer has 2 layers.

 

Was he actually racing you? He might not have been aware you were gonna race. I beat a 05 GT Mustang in the 1/4 mile and I had Intake and Exhaust., but doesn't mean I can beat a mustang. Not many people can drive!

yeah, my sliencer was off.. and he really was racing.. i'm pretty sure he misshifted. when i was in 2nd gear, i was ahead of him.. and he really was because he launched his car and was revving before we launched. I held up with him till 2nd gear when i pulled on him.. soooo happy.. the chick probably dumped him right after, lol

 

LOL nice kill. my first kill was my gf she has an integra gsr with AEM intake, and skunk2 catback. I only had an intake and unbolted exhaust at the time.. so i beat her by 2 car lengths. but i gotta admit, she had me in the beginning due to the loss of my low end

 

I remeber my first kill, it was about 200 yards with an m700.....talk about a mess!

 

wow was she an automatic? You shuld have had her in the beginnin cuz ur low end loss still puts at alot more torque. round 35 ft/lb. GSR is a sweet car, but i guess i can see a TC beating it if the driver wasn't very good. She def. shulda won, ive been in a GSR while racing, 8100 rpm redline is sweet and ppl say v-tec is BS, at around 5000 RPM the car went crazy

 

Good job at beating him then.
Now if only I could afford the faster cars I could show those old men how to drive!
