kid wants to race me he has a stock tiburon 06 automatic the 4 cilynder i got a stock 07 tc automatic who will win? anyone race tiburons before?

Yeah, I thought they made a leap in styling with the Tiburon when they changed it but it was sure a big let down performance wise. I knew a kid who had an older 140 HP one and claimed it would run 15.1 in the quater stock. Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhh........

what about the gt V6 tiburon, i know its a chrysler/mitsu engine which means it has no top end grunt, but will it pull away?

 

A manual tC with a good driver will beat a V6 Tib.

i raced my friends 06 tiburon 6 speed he has intake and exhaust i have intake and he beat me by a car length not bad =D

 

yea i walked my friends 03 v6 auto tiburon. but im manual. i guess he got tired of looking at my exhaust cause he drives a RSX-S now

i raced my friends 03 gt tiburon and he had a intake and barely pulled me (he sucks at driving) and im stock, now he has an ark catback so i dont really stand a chance anymore.

 

I raced my 95 Neon against my friends 4 cylinder Tiburon (don’t remember what year, but guessing 2000 something) and beat him no problem. My tC is definitely faster than my Neon, therefore faster than his Tiburon.

Against the V6 Tiburon? Close call. I raced my tC against a V6 and won, but he was either driving an auto (me a manual) or he didn’t know how to shift.

It all depends on the driver. Auto vs. auto? Depends on who can stomp it quicker.

 

oh yeah, who is ready for some auto vs auto action?

time to determine once and for all which driver can push their pedal harder and faster than the other guy! it is all thrill of racing but with slower cars and and drivers who don't know how to work a clutch!

i mean seriously...racing autos? you might as well save the gas money and just play head to head in a video game.

 

no i definitely dont think so. the v6 tib's are pretty decent. one kept up with me for about 1 second.. then i hit the gas.

 

well, a v6 tib manual will do 60 in 7.2 seconds, while we need 7.4 with a manual. so yeah, drivers race. for the most part.

 

No what? A tC won't beat a Tib? Or a Tib won't beat a tC? I'm confused.

I know from personal experience that a 5-speed tC can beat a six cylinder Tib.
