LOL I thought it was way too complicated, but it was great fun. I ran off course one time because I couldn't get the car to freaking turn fast enough, damn LSD just wanted me to keep going.

SM-U I believe, some retarded high class, I was going up against Heavy Modded Miatas and Mini Cooper S's... I was way out of my league. I went to tech place and they looked at my tires and were like your in Street Modified Stock class and they popped open my hood and saw the TRD blower with a modded pulley and said I was in the Highest Street Class there because of being f/i.

Lol yeah my course was small. This video was my best run and I was with the wifey running shotgun, She's the best. But it was fun none the less. I would like to get into it to complete, I would need coil-overs, rear camber kit and some slicks. Tires are everything to this sport, I'm sold on that.

Just be careful what class you're running. Slicks are not allowed in any of the ST* classes. It's specifically a class for street tires (hence the ST). But you CAN run slicks in Stock classes and just about any other class.
To be quite honest though, you'd be better off doing quite a few events improving your driving and technique before loading on the parts. There is ALWAYS more to improve as a driver.

This is true, the car can drive great and it can be 100% error on my part. I'm planning on doing the rest of this season just with my setup (excluding my tune because well I just need to tune my car LOL) and see how she holds up. I will invest in some minor stuff tho, better brake pads, i have a member here on the site holding some s/s brake lines and I should have a s/s clutch line in the mail shortly. With those basic mods I should just improve on my driving. No cones on my first try LOL!

Video looks like you did OK. Hard to tell from a distance, but not bad for first event. Holy raspy exhaust though!
Here's a playlist of my best runs (13 videos, oldest first):

Yeah its a ptuning exhaust with morriso spiral flow with megan headers. It runs great tho, I think and its only loud when I nail it. Most of the noise is because its in a secluded spot and noise bounces off the trees. Its an old navy air field. I wanna do it up in a mall parking lot like speedy's did! That looks fun as hell, and someone else did it on an run way with some nice 3rd gear straights! SO MUCH TO LEARN!

Man just reading your guys posts after going out for the first time makes me want to do this even more. The only drawback is i will need to drive a ways to get to events since i will be stationed in Key West.
Hey ack you still running H&R sport springs and tokico shocks?
