Getting ready for Irwindale Raceway against friend's BMW 325
Ok Next month I'm putting a bet against my friend's BMW 325i 2001. It's pretty quick in my opinion but yeah its an automatic/stock. Next week I'm getting the dezod N/A catback exhaust/trd cold air intake. What are my chances against this stock beamer? What else should I put on my TC? By the way I got an 06 tc yeah its stick. Thinking about headers but i don't want my dezod exhaust to end up sounding ricey. We are betting for $250 just for the first run and however much at the end.
the 325i is not that fast, in fact im pretty sure a stock tC is quicker as long as u drive ok and take the tree. if it was a 328 i would consider it a hard shot. My co-worker has an automatic 325 and i easily overtook it and judging by how easily i overtook im sure a tC would prevail
The 325i is rated at 14.8 1/4 mile ( I believe for a manual). So, with some good driving you should be able to take an Auto. BUT the key word is "Good" Driving. If you are not running low 15's cosistent with the I/E, then you are not driving good enough.
