got my ___ handed to me by an audi.
wow. i gotta give props to this guy, and i've certainly learned the limitations of my car and am really curious how the supercharger would help in this situation. first run i got to 125 and we seemed to stay together, got back down to highway speed and he flashed me, at first i didn't get it, but im assuming he wanted to have a little fun. he let me get ahead, and he just plain blew passed me, mind you i was 120 at this point, i was amazed and laughing my ___ off. I know what to get when i grow up.
The same thing happened to me today on my way to work. I saw this guy in an audi moving through traffic so I figured I roll with him. At one point I passed him going a buck something around traffic and then he passed me.
I just let him go cause I knew nothing good could come of me trying to keep up.

probably an A4. . . those cars just beg for boost. But most of the Audi line is already going to be faster than the Scion line. . . and they can do it completely stock. A4, A6, A8. . . and you don't even want to mention the S series. . . and for the larger sedans, it would probably be a 4.2, but even the 3.2's are decently quick.

i can't help but imagine those audi drivers going to their audi forums and saying "i just killed a tC blah blah blah"
if i learned one thing, it's that i wouldn't mess with anything recently released from europe (maybe something like a mini, but that's pretty much it). even several european SUVs have the potential to hand your ___.
A friend of mine in San Antonio has an Audio A4 Quattro. We upgraded the turbo on it to the KO4 package. I gotta tell you that damn thing was pretty quick and sounded like a damn jet when hitting boost. I could still beat him in my old truck (2000 Dakota R/T @ 350hp) but he wasn't too far behind.

It's no disrespect to any Scion, but it's a fact. . . we are VERY slow, compared to the the line of REAL performance cars. The tC is a sporty econo-coupe, at best. Think otherwise, and you are a ricer (god, I hate that word). Put $5,000 into your car, and then start comparing, but even then, most of those guys whould laugh at you for spending 30% of the value of your car on mods that don't hold value. If speed were the goal, we'd all be driving used Camaro's that run stock 13 second 1/4's. But tC's are cool, practical cars. They're not daily maintainence Camaro's.
But yeah, do it for the fun of it, but don't expect to win against higher end cars, unless you have some serious mods, or you happen to race a lowly BMW 523 or a heavy heavy GS300 (you'd get killed by a GS400, despite the weight difference). The heavy luxo sedans with the low option engines are slow.

We just got my friends 2001 S4 back from dropping it off to get APR chipped and some other miscellaneous things...all I can say is 400ft/lbs to the wheels @ 16 psi is real pretty
The onyl problem right now is he is misfiring in his 6th cylinder...I think its just a coil pack cause the plugs were changed out already and its still doin it.

Not bad for a car that was rated at 235 Flywheel HP from the factory.
