lol, it was probably a force of habit, i mean, most of the time he is posting about turbos and such. he probably even has the f/i section bookmarked and just goes there to post all the time.
anyway, nice drifting, that is exactely how one should practice. empty parking lot, making circles practice controlling the size of the circle.
also, watch initial d and soak in the knowledge and storyline

Because we have a turbo tC too. And I live in the F/I section. So, I knew what I was doing when I posted it there...
BWAAAAHHAHA
anybody else notice that it almost took out that light-pole at 1:38
- not to mention that was a total waste of perfectly good tires....
(sarcasm)
you did it right at 3:40 - you need to quit trying to use the e-brake, it's only needed at all to INITIATE the drift, not to try and control it and use it, you should be using the gas pedal to control the angle of your drift, nothing else. Your speed in that environment is way, way too slow to try and e-brake drift, and you need to try to think about what gear you are in, and what RPM you are at and how the tires would react, you can't expect to keep the drift going if you're in 2nd gear at 15mph, and the reason you kept spinning out is because you weren't letting the e-brake out IMMEDIATELY - the e-brake should be a one-time split second use thing, if you use it at all.
it would be much better to practice more proper and useful ways to initiate a drift than just yanking the e-brake, it's much too immediate and violent to teach you what's going on, you'd be MUCH better off yanking the wheel on direction and swinging it the other way and hammering the throttle and then feathering the gas depending on how you want the car to react and don't modify your steering inputs much, if at all. If you want the back to swing around more, give it more gas.
It's better to work your way up starting at baby drifts than to just jump head-long into yanking the e-brake, you'll just burn more tires off for no reason and not learn anything.

Dude....what the heck are you talking about. I'm not a noob....Did I say I was trying to control the drift with the freakin E-Brake....

Here is food for thought....E-Brake drifts ARE beginner drift initiations. Every watch "Drfit Bible"? I didn't post the vid to ask a forum that's full of FWD vehicles...."How can I improve my drifting?" That's what I have my drift forums for. I posted the vid to show I was getting better OVER the previous video that I did only about 3 months ago. I KNOW what I'm doing right and wrong. If I sound like an butthole right now, it's because everyone thinks they are an expert. If you are an expert, can you show me some of your drifting achievements, then I would politely and kindly seek advice from you.
That's awesome dude. At 1:35 it does look like you were about to take that pole out, I was cringing. Very cool though, I want to drift so bad. Do you plan on getting licensed and doing events?

^^I didn't even flintch, cause I had it. When you begin to feel "Car Control" You know how far to push and pull. If I got the sense that I was going to hit it, I would have hit the brakes.....instead of the Gas, powering through it and controlling the steering.
That's why I said it wasn't even close. When you start learning, you also gain knowledge in your limits of yourself and your car. That's why some of the Guys/Gals who are good at it, can make the rear end come within inches of the wall.
