Whats up guys. I'm looking to settle a dispute on 2 other Forums (yoursciontc.com and focusfanatics.com)I want to set up a race between my STOCK SVT Focus
and a STOCK Scion tC 5 speed. I'm not trying to be an ___ by any means, just looking for a FRIENDLY race to settle a friendly dispute.

I'd do it. I'm all stock but in CT, in the Middletown area, but SVT FOCUS would
be more of a SUPER CHARGED tC, since it's not just a normal FOCUS.

I don't think that would make it to far from stock as long as you have stock exhaust and TB.

 

No stock tC 160hp 163tq stock. SVTF 170hp 145tq they are close.

Sounds good. Thanks for not flaming on this. Is there a 1/4 mile track half way between us. FYI this will be the first time i've run my Focus on the track.

 

there is a track up in NH ive been to. i like that one

NH is cool with me. I just didn't know if you wanted to drive that far. I have a class A cdl and a wife with 2 kids.I have way too much to loose to street race.

 

i hear ya... i have a 3 times suspended liscense lol. so i cant afford any more tickets.

and yea NH is fine. i wanna go to the track agin anyways.

ok i'll chime in just because ive my last car was an 03 svtf zx5. they are both extremely close in performance. the tc has a better low end and the svt has a much better top end. in shorter races my money is on the tc, on highway races the svt will kill a tc, the 1/4 mile should be down too the driver, but the svt will have to play catch up out the hole.....

id love to race you too but i have a header....

 

A header is alittle much .I'm trying to get as close to stock as possable,but you should come anyway. I'll see how many local focus guys I can round up. I'm sure someone will have a car with the apropriate mods to race you. We can make an event out of it. Check me out on focusfanatics.com

lol. i would love to get a tC vs focus thing goin on at a track! that would be sweet... get a SC focus vs a SC tC hehe.

 

I'm sure we could get a few people together,but the lower end focuses are no match for a TC.

 

You should come .That way you can fix my car if I break it. Don't worry it's under warrenty

I could have used you last week when I had to shell out over a grand for a new clutch and flywheel because the service manager wouldn't po5 the tsb on my fllywheel.I now you don't own a focus but you should register with our site.We could always use Ford tech guy for info. http://www.focusfanatics.com/
