Default Official 1/4 and 1/8 Mile Times [TIMESLIP SCANS REQUIRED]

This thread was made for two reasons....to satisfy the inquiring minds on scionlife.com about 1/4 mile times and to keep those same people in one place....not 45 threads in each forum...:-D

so like the title says, scan your timeslip, no playing with photoshop or anything, and let's see what these cars have!

Jeff

This is completely stock. No changes, not even tire pressure...with about 4 gallons of gas... Best time was 17.2@79.90. Way too much wheel hop... I should be able to break 16s with my stock set up due to better launching and shifting skills...

Good reaction time on your third run.

You need to rev it higher, then launch hard!

Newer to the drag racing scene? :?:

I wasn't caring for reaction time. It was my first time on the track. I was trying to find my sweet spot in launching. Reaction times weren't a factor....

listen up!!! i did some cleaning in this thread...if the post if off topic, it will be deleted....i'm not going to sit and allow people with different cars talk ish on a scion just b/c they can register on the site....and i expect that you scion owners have enough respect for yourselves and the site that has been created for you and is FREE to you to not bother wasting time posting responses to asses like that....i'l take care of it...you just keep posting timeslips!!

Jeff

EDIT~ there will be no more flame wars in my thread...if you choose to do so do it in off topic so i can delete the whole thread....jackasses...

lets becareful we already went through this with the elemant owners and we squashed that one.

MR. aveo dude, just have your moderators delete the 3 topics in your website. We don't want this escalating more than it is already, I also noticed that one of your aveo owners was racisit in one of the posts. Lets leave it there, or delete it.

I raced again on friday, but I haven't got the slips scanned yet. My best time that night was....

.564
2.766
7.658
11.676
60.75MPH
15.097
18.027 :D
76.85 MPH

Still stock

BTW, my best r/t for that other time I ran was .565, but the slip is hard to read

unlmtdndeavor
Not saying I doubt you but 60' times like that dont really support 1/4 times like that, to get a time like that I'd think you'd have to have a higher mph???
It just looks odd is all I'm saying... your xB must have some bada$$ midrange!
I cut 2.3/2.4 60's and 86-88mph traps while posting 15.9-16.1 times...(not a scion...)

like car 5601 in your first slip... decent launch strong 2nd and bottom of 3rd but top end lags thus the low mph on his 16.0 run!

Peace

I dont have a scanner but I'll post whats on the slip.

R/T- .618
60'- 2.315
330- 6.774
1/8- 9.501@67.27mph
1000- 13.580
1/4- 16.277@83.25mph

Stock tC with automatic tranny

unlmtdndeavor, your 60's are horrible. If you get those down to say a 2.1 an easy 15.4 is capable. Seems like you all have problems with 60's. Reaction times having nothing to do with track times. Get those 60's down to 2.1-2.2 and your cars will see good times. Also, dont be afraid to powershift (shift with light/medium gas, dont take foot off gas pedal) and mph will climb nicely.
My 2.3 60's is probably the best Im going to get. You can really launch with an automatic tranny. haha

Every little bit helps. Powershifting on a stock clutch will only hurt the clutch. Who cares there warranty anyway. :?
