you cant read that well but my reaction time was .183

I ran against an SRT-4, i took him off the line and stayed ahead till half track then he started catching up.

All in all not a bad time, for first time running the car, im hoping with some weight reduction i can break 15.5 but well see.

comments welcome
Nice run

I dont have my scanner set up yet, so...
I am running 15.62 @ 86 mph, consistaly and have a best of 15.61 @ 87 mph
I am bone stock. on a long straight away I have gotten up to 134mph and had a lil left, so Scion messed up the est top speed. I have ran in NC and TX and get the same times unless it's over 85 degrees out then I run 15.8's.

I will say it for you guys. My launches suck! I could not keep the tires from spinning. This run was with letting the clutch out slower than my other two runs. No I don't lower the tire pressure or take the spare tire out. It is my opinion that you should run a car in the exact condition that you drive on the street. So it has nearly a full tank of gas, full tire pressure, a 12" sub and two amps in the back. There is no doubt I can break into the 15s with just a little better launch.

I go to Norwalk Raceway Park in Northern Ohio. A test and tune night costs me $14.00 and I can get 7 or 8 runs in.

yah 134 Down hill with a tail wind and a Ferrari Enzo connected to the Tow hitch at the bumper Limited at 127. 134 with a lil left is doubtful man. I feel bad for posting with out a slip though. So let me apologize in advance.

Its funny how some people (tc) get mid 16's with I/H/E and some people get mid 15's bone stock.

No, their tC did not run 16s or 15s, THEY ran those times driving their tC. Just because your car can run 15s doesnt mean you can necessarilly do it. That is where driver skill comes into play.

Default My 1/8 Mile Times

USA Speedway
Lakeland, FL
1/8 Mile Drag Strip best time 10.3 seconds at 72 mph
Reaction time false start is below 0.5 seconds

The Scion tC does very well on the 1/8 strip. I was able to beat numerous V6 cars. Below are a few of my time slips. I won 7 times and lost twice (one time was do to missing 3rd gear)

My only mods at that time were K & N Typhoon CAI, TRD Exhaust, TRD Suspension, Hotchkis sways.

My friend at work kept saying his manual V6 Tyburon would "kill" my TC. I raced him three times, and I smoked him everytime. This was the closes he ever got to me.

This dude talked so much smack and numerous guys were betting cash right in front of me that the Integra would win... heh. He had greddy pipes and AEM intake.

My best time of the night was 10.3 seconds, even though I lost to a highly modded CRX with JDM engine, MSD ignition system, RAM+CAI intake and was so light that didn't even have a hood or passenger seats

this race was against my friends 98 eclipse GTS, he was all stock with manual! vs my tC with dc header, secret weapon-r intake, weapon-r damper kit, and a resistor chip. obviously he took the win (left side) and me loser (right side)

compare the R/T and 60ft. timing with both cars! this damper kit really works!!!

took out a Celica GT-S, all stock and AUTOMATIC. he lost obviously

all of my reaction time is horrible!! possibly every race i did was quite bad. my best reaction time was about .700 ....

So I decided to take my car out to the track last night for the first time. I've never been to the track before so I was somewhat nervous. My car is 5 speed stock performance. The weather was ~86 degrees on the track.

First race a focus hatchback asked what I had done to my car and I told him I was stock so he said lets race. I didnt ask what he had until after the race. It was then I found out he had headers, intake, and exhaust. Granted it was a ZX3, but it was my first time ever at the track.

Second race he wanted to go again and all that was really around me at the time were a buncha turbo integra's, so I said what the hell.

Not too bad of a night for my first time at the track. There was only 1 other tC there and he ran a 16.9. He was 5 speed as well.
