I'm not here to hate on xAs and xBs. But everyone saying they're stock and can beat tCs are very suspicious.??

Just the simple facts, no opinions here.
Curb weight and wheel horsepower are very close but rounded off and the 1/4 times are from a mag that ACTUALLY ran them, not just made up expected numbers.

xA... 2300 lbs/90 whp 25.5 HP to lbs ratio 1/4 17.3@76
xB... 2400 lbs/90 whp 26.6 HP to lbs ratio 1/4 17.8@72
tC... 2900 lbs/140 whp 20.7 HP to lbs ratio 1/4 15.3@90

Seems as thought the xA has the best chance, a heavily modded 5 speed xA could probably beat a stock auto tC. But not by much, maybe a couple feet.

How so? It's easy to blow any motor regardless of whether it's the 2.4 or 1.5. One is not easier than the other. Lean the air/fuel out and Bam! You can even blow a motor with a turbo if it's not tuned right. Put a 35 shot in an xB and if you do it right, you'll have no problems. Put a 35 shot in a tC and lean it out and it's over.

Also, why do people act like nitrous is cheating? It's a mod! Just because it's easy to install and cheap, doesn't mean it's cheating. People always say, "It beat me cause it had nitrous." Well... yeah. It probably would've beat you if it was tc'd or sc'd, but that's not cheating? Come on peeps!

my opinion on nitrous is its not continuous power. granted its cool and all for 7 sec, but after that juice runs out your done. where as a f/i setup is allways making power and will never run out (unless you destroy something then your not going anywhere!)

Nitrous, Superchargers, and Turbos all have their advantages. I personally do not go to the drags, so therefore I don't see the point in spending over $3,000 for a turbo. If I was planning on dragging the box, then yeah, it would be worth it. I got my box for the practicality and gas mileage. However, I would love to pull up to a light and have the local ricer in his Civic, Integra, or whatever, rev at me and be able to pull on him. That's all it would be for. So for my personal situation, it would be perfect, because I could do it for less than $500. This works for me, but definitely doesn't work for everyone. It's all about personal preference.
