Default ran my tc at the track

I want that 13! i had a full tank of gas, my all-season kumhos on and full interior but i bested 14.1@100

I'm running a custom setup on the evo3 16g GT (same turbo as ZPI) at 6psi
with that trap i know i can get into the 13s, i just need better tires i was launching at like 2krpms, i had horrible wheel-hop the whole time

there was an 05 civic with a 1.7L turbo setup pushing 11psi who i beat every time...he was getting a little upset, so he found himself some drag radials and finally caught up with me

Thats good man, my best is a 14.0, with a better launch 13's are right there. Defenitely get the engine damper, helped out my wheel hop and traction significantly!

Hmm... I wonder if softening them up just a little more would have helped witht he wheel hop. I'd give that shot and see what happens.

What kind of fuel management are you using? My 13.8 was at 103 so I guess you're doin pretty well!

ZPI is comming out with engine mounts - nobody for 100% yet knows if they are going to be better then the engine dampner (because nobody knows yet) .... but I would imagine they will most deff be a better idea. I have them on pre-order and im hoping to see them in another month or so.

Heres my question about the engine dampener. is tc wheel spin/hop due to engine flex/movement or just due to the amount of torque going to the wheels, causing them to sping too quickly.

i just can't believe that the little ingalls stiffy could make THAT much of a difference.

Yes it makes a world of difference when you have it set to max.

Ingalls Website....

A self-contained elastomeric shock that mounts on brackets between the engine and the chassis. It reduces extreme engine movement and dampens the motion, providing many benefits. The “Stiffy” was originally intended for the sport compact market, but can be used for some Hot Rod applications if it is applied correctly.

Benefits
Greatly improved off-the-line acceleration
Reduced wheel hop
Improved vehicle stability
Reduced shock loads on driveline components
Smoother shifting
Reduced wear on exhaust system joints
Less vibration transmission to the driver compared to polyurethane motor mounts.
Less shock load, compared to torque straps and chains.
Drifting – helps reduce shock loads when wheels gain traction.
Reduces motor movement – decreases the chance of motor parts rubbing against
the hood and frame.

People that are reading this - remember that this mod will add extra noise to the inside of your car. You normally cant get better performance and not have something else suffer. Im not saying to "not get the product" ..... Im just stating this fact because most people reading this for the first time would not know if such an issue.
