Default SCCA Midwest Division Solo Championship!

I went to get an alignment at the AutoTire in Chesterfield, MO to correct a toe issue I was having in the front and straighten out my suspension (that I screwed up the night before and needed fixed quickly )... I went over to the Bentley dealership down the street to kill some time...

What's that in one of their trailers?

So afraid of being chased off the premises for being what Peter Griffin calls a "normie", I left for Topeka. And this is what I saw...

And this is how I looked after the 4.5 hour drive...

Not too shabby!

Look at that tame racing driver there, taking 5th out of 16 in the series for STS!

Some say he drinks his own urine for the hydration... and that he doesn't know his _______ from his elbow...

All we know, is he's called... The Dogbert.

The results page is horribly broken (apparently people who live in Kansas can't design webpages), and the final series points haven't been officially dished out yet because they can't be bothered.

I took 7th of 8. I was quite pleased with taking 7th, actually, despite it being quite low. It's my novice year for autocrossing, my second ever divisional event, and everyone ahead of me was either a national champion, a competitive national car, or related to a national champion. There was 1.627s between me and 8th, but a full 7.99s between me and 6th, just to give you an idea of how competitive I'm talking about.

And taking 7th was good enough for me to secure a 5th place trophy for the whole series, by my figures. :D
