Default ssm/csm

This sounds stupid but what does ssm and csm stand for?

I know this may not be the right forum but i cant post in the Off Topic section for some reason

SSM: Silver Streak Mica
- the silver color Scion used on the tC for 2005 MY only.

CSM: Classic Silver Metallic
- the silver color used on the tC from 2006+

Difference: SSM is a touch darker shade.

Of the two silvers here, the SSM is left and CSM is right.

Oh, I should also mention that they use the colors for other vehicles too. Not just the tC. That's just what I relate them to.

Like SSM is also used on the xD for current model years.

We used to use them a lot more when Scion first came out.
