I just think that most of those guys have no idea about anything about the car. They're just guessing. I would normally think a Mustang would whip my ___... then again, I don't go out on the highway looking for races. Because that's stupid.

I think a s/c tC would spank a V6 Mustang....a lot of those new ones are V6's too.
Don't think so on a V8 though.....not unless u were seriously modded.

lol..some of those domestic guys just dont know..tc looks nuting like a toaster..they just think because its a scion its slow..i would love to meet a v6 at a light..unfortunately i only got the v8 and they spanked me lol..i kept up from a roll for about 3-4 seconds though and im auto . im guessing he was auto too otherwise, i think i did better then i was suppose to.

533 at the wheels actually is what the nitto team told me when i talked to them.

 

Manual tc will own a 3.8 mustang(old body v6) at least on the highway. I came along side one a month or two ago. Had a body kit that looked like a race car and a 232 badge on back. I think actually said out load "WTF is a 232?" Next thing I know he romped on it. I downshifted and punched mine and dusted him. It was funny cause after he lost he kinda hid behind this other car.
New V6(4.0) mustangs are much faster tho: 15.3 in the quarter.
A decent driver with i/h/e manual should be about even with a new one.

 

yea but anyone with money can make a fast car. I mean there are a few 1000+hp rustangs, but that doesn't represent the actual car, just like the nitto car doesn't even remotely represent the capability of the tC in stock form.

 

^Agreed! Any trouser stain can spend $100,000 and make a car fast. Impressive is buying a car for 5K spending 10K on parts and having an 11 second car.

 

theres also a tc with 1400 whp but i very seriously doubt its the stock engine
