yesterday is just raced against a 2005 Celica GT. they had 3 passanger we had 3 passanger... both of the car had manual tranny and i was talking to the driver via cellphones.
So i told her to pull nex to me in 5th and try to keep the 50mph... when i say 3.2.1.go then floor the pedal....
we did it and it was head to head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so 50mph roll to ~80,90mph in 5th gear= head to head.

i tought im gonna eat her.. but no(((((( she has stock celica and i have CAi, Megan Racing headers, and exhaust system...............

4th and 5th are overdrive gears on fwd cars with 5 speed transaxles.

 

At 50mph, you should had been in 3rd...

Yah tC has hardly any power from top of third to fifth. If you start in third you'll pull her pretty hard with your mods.

 

well the if the tc doesnt have any power in 5th neither would the celica its a 1.8 liter 140 horses and the guy with the tc has intake, headers and exhaust i know a girl with a 5spd celica gt and when i wuz stock she wouldnt go anywhere on me from a 40 MPH roll i would be in 4th and her in third and in the beginning she would go half a car ahead for a few seconds, after that i wuz gone

 

Followed shortly by reverse gear racing. Being FWD will help with that one. :D
