Default Tracking your tC

What to see how many tC owners do track days or time attack events with their car.

Not yet. Planning on it this coming summer.
I didn't want to push it this year since I just got it in August.

not many people track their tC. They stick to dragracing cause it is easy and trendy but fun at times.

Ptuning tracks their tC and I track my xA, their is another group that tracks a tC in Ohio, and Chris Rado tracks his tC also. That's about it. I think there is another guy on here that tracks his tC in Cali too...
It's funny how so many buy racing suspension parts for their tC, but just drive on the street, it really bugs me.

I've had my tC (bone stock save for HP+ pads up front, Motul fluid, Goodridge lines and an AEM CAI) on Watkins Glen and Pocono a couple of times (WG twice in 06 and Pocono twice in 07). I was going to run it at the Redline TA at Summit this past fall, but decided to not put any money into the suspension...instead I bought a Miata for track days and autocross. For me the cost of loosing my daily driver due to my own stupidity/lack of talent, or worse yet, someone else's mistake was to high. I bought the Miata because if I wad it up on the track I'm only out a couple grand. Plus the Miata is much more fun on the track. Not that I've had mine more than a week yet and haven't tracked it, but I drove someone's at Pocono, which helped me decide to go this direction.

good replys...

now what if.. an aero company.. designs a aero kit that does create down force. that does look good.

Would tC owners be interested in the kit?

bump this poll

Yes. People would buy it. But most would not use DF generating aero on actual tracks for actual racing. I wouldn't install it on my car, since I know my tC would hardly get up to enough speed for DF to be a factor. If anyone did need DF help, they are dedicated race cars. Or, for the aero to be a factor it would need to be WoO big..

I will def be attending more track events this upcoming year. I decided not to sell my TC and continue on with it. I will make sure everything will be running in tip top shape so that my chances of components failing during events are slim.

:D

I would say hels yas!

And, notice the complete lack of DF creating aero parts! Dan, do you think you would ever need such a thing?

Need/want? Sure! However, many racing series don't allow for such things.

+1

Pretty much all of the mods are copied (poor copies a lot of times) from motorsport, yet very little people do anything even remotely close to that.

I'm sorry, but your tC was many times sexier than before you threw black on it.
