I raced my friend in his auto lancer ralliart and beat him 3 times we went from 20 mph, from a stop, and from 40mph. Closest was from 40

All races were on prvate (CLOSED) road.

If it was a stick i think it wouldve been much closer, but i would still beat him. HA HA

What are your mods? Are you stock?

 

I have injen short ram intake, mmw header and s-pipe, and magnaflow axle back exhaust.

Never been on dyno but Gabe from precision exhaust says that this setup makes an additional 25 hp. Dont know about the tourque. Only difference is their intake is weapon-r mines injen

 

you are not making 25hp. 15hp would be more like it

 

A friend of mine has a lancer es (like ralliart w.o badges I think) and I beat him, from a dig to 80, by about 10 cars and he's stick i'm automatic.

I think his best 1/4 time is 19? or something. Terrible.

My mods are cat-back custom 2.5inch and weapon R intake

 

Yeah, the es is like a ralliart with no badges if you completely ignore the fact that it is in almost no way similar to the ralliart. The ralliart sucks, but the es really SUCKS. Lancers are ULTRA SLOW.

that's like picking on a redheaded step child. go race an evo. that way you can lose and get turbo then race again, lose, then turn up the boost and add NOS.

but congrats on the victory against a car that a spec sheet would have proven the obvious.

So what exactly are the differences between the ES and Ralliart? I knew the Evolution was NOTHING at all like the ES or Ralliart, but I didn't know the Ralliart & ES were completely different also?


Looks like the body and interior are the same when I look at pics of them, just the ES doesn't have a lipkit and has steelies.

I was thinking OZ Rally edition not Ralliart. Too many versions of lancers.

yea, if they taunt you for a race, it's game on. buddy of mine drive an R6 (yes the bike) and we were messing around last night. damn fuel cut.

 

ES Lancer and OZ Rally have the same powertrain and drivetrain. Ralliart is the tC competitor. If he raced an auto OZ Rally, then the race wouldnt even have been close. I think the OZ Rally 0-60 for an auto would be somewhere in the 10 second range.

 

Depending on the year and I don't think they start making ralliart till like 2004-2005.
ES is the base model, OZ rally comes with nicer rims, grill and lips. Same engine.
Ralliart has a different motor and is pretty quick

 

ralli art is def different pretty much the only thing similar is the body. Ralli art has a bigger motor and i believe diff suspension.

 

I had a ralliart, I could beat any tC that was matched up mod for mod. The gearing is much better. The car over all had a lot of problems and got worse on the highway than my Camaro SS. No I am NOT kidding about that. Scions are much better quallity cars than mitu's. The ralliart has a 2.4 SOHC mivec motor. The tranny is matched perfectly to that engine. Motortrend had the 04 going 0-60 in 6.9 seconds. A full second quicker than a stock tC.

 

Half second quicker, tc is 7.4. I've raced 2 ralliarts and taken them both. They are not all that

 

The new ralliart is going to kick the poo out of the tC with the AWD and the 220 turboed moter.
