you'd outrun him in distance, especially if he was going full throttle and you were doing 50 - 60 mph, but yea I'd just save my gas

Here a clip of an xB at auto cross, thought it look like he was struggling to catch up with the 240sx on the straight ways.

That's Eloy's (rollhard) Greddy turbo'd xB. Not much done suspension wise. I think he might have lowering springs, that's it.

i personaly don't like turbo because of it's lag time. thats why man kind invented the super charger, zero lag time and instant boost. even then though, with a super charger and nos and the right intake and exaust, you still wouldn't have a chance, not if you still only have the 1.5L in there. maybe little chance with a 1.8L 16+ valve, best chance with a 2.4L... if you can fit it in there...

i really don't know what you can fit in there, but you wont beat your freind with the 1.5L.
not picking on you just everyone is saying the same thing and i highly disagree, i used to own a 03 mazdaspeed protege boosted to 15 lb's 2.0l and a friend of mine had a 1.5 l protege turbo'd stripped interior and lots of other goodies and he would smoke me... and i was able to smoke a stock srt-4 till about 130 when i hit the speed cut., anything is possible with MONEY...

i also seen a civic 1.5 or 1.6 turbo'd only 4lbs of boost beat a lightly modded evo8 so once agian... its power to weight... not who has the most hp etc etc etc... and driver exp has alot to do with it as well.

you can beat him with the new box, found out that the new one will have the same motor as the tc (one of the scion managers here just got back from vegas and said its going to be the same motor as the tc, but thats all he knows)
