I purchased a set of those "Ebay" halo projector lights like 4 months ago.. all was well until I went to wash my car.. they fogged up so bad that you can barely see the light.. I've taken them out and moved around the little angeled rubber pieces to see if that made a difference. NOPE..

A few months goes by and the small LED lights start going out, I email them and ask them where I can purchase replacements.. I never hear anything from them..

I continue to deal with the LED issue and fog issue for a few months.. I've called them a few times and each time it rings endlessly

I email them again asking if it's normal for the LED's to go out in such a short amount of time, and why they are fogging up so bad.. I should not have to do any sort of jimmy rigging to get the lights to work.. still nothing..

This company has POOR communication services, sells products that malfunction (with no way to get replacements), and sells a product that by default may be defective..

Anyone else get those halo projector lights and have any issues?

The difference being is that those ebay ones were going for low 200s.. I paid 451 dollars for mine.. I thought the quality was different..

Did you get yours from ebay or vertexracing? and have you tried to contact the person/company that sold them to you?

I bought Vertex Racing projector headlights from eBay. I think I paid mid-$200s.

It did say in the instructions to seal the units with silicone, so I did, and I used a LOT.

No issues, no fogging and all lamps are operating. Maybe that made the difference?

ok, maybe someone can correct me if im wrong, but do you guys really think there is a difference between the "ebay" projectors and the online vendor sites like jlevi. i mean come on, do you really think there a two differnet manufacturing plants producing similliar projector lights for a scion tc but one is more 'quality'. i remember reading a thread were someone paid like twice as much money from an online site than ebay because he thought they were better quality. if you really want these lights buy them on ebay for 150 bucks and then seal the crap out of them. or buy them online somewhere else for like a hundred more, and seal the crap out of them.

in my opinion i think if the quality was that amazing they wouldnt be aftermarket parts and the dealers will be providing us with all these parts and they will be backed up by warranty....however the dealer isnt stupid so they wont back up something they feel might have the slightest chance of breaking within a couple of weeks....its all a chance with aftermarket parts....wether ebay or a site.....ive seen really good ebay products aswell as bad ones that dont even fit.....and same goes for sites.......its all a chance people....alllll a chance

I think they come from the same manufacturer..

I remember you had to search for the lights using the search option.. if you just try and find them directly by looking at tC stuff they dont come up.. dunno why..

Also.. I dont think their website works with Firefox.. use IE.. I had trouble with it on Firefox..

I just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to Billy of VertexRacing. I had an issue with my lights and once we actually met up, he was more than willing to help me out.

He's a really cool guy, he took off my front bumper, took out both of my head lights, caulked the seem, replaced both blinking/malfunctioned LED's and re-installed everything and didnt charge me a dime!!

Anyways.. with customer service like that, I'd recommend anyone to purchase from them..

I agree. Gla everything turned out on the good side. Did they give you a discount on anything since you paid 200 more than the other guy?
