So last week I ordered a set rims from wheelmax.com and they came today (on time) and I was excited... until the drama began... they sent me two of the correct STYLE rims and two totally wrong rims... I was like wtf! So as I walked to the phone to call them and complain my phone rings and it is the manager saying he knows they screwed up and my other two rims were sent to TN to a place with the same street name.... ok I was a little mad but understandable and the guy was cool so I was like honest mistake... its cool...so then I am test fitting the two good rims and I put on the first one and I am like DAMN thats close to the brake caliper wtf did I do? Then I saw the box! They sent me one rim at 18x7.5 with a 35 mm offset (what I ordered) and one 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset! I was ____ED so I called back to complain again and started catching attitude from the rep saying that I probably ordered it wrong and I would need to pay to send it back... So i flipped and demanded to talk to the manager that I had talked to before... he came on the phone and everything was cool in a matter of seconds... he realized they screwed up bigtime and my order was done correctly... so basically the outcome is now I need to ship ALL my rims back to them so they can ship ALL new rims to me that are all correct... and they are paying for all of it....

All in all i am ____ed they messed up my order... but the customer service was very good when talking to the right person and they are taking care of everything... so i am satisfied so far in a matter of speaking but i still have to wait at least two weeks before I get the rims again...

Hmm i think this is a good way of advertising lol.. Someone messes up, buyer talks bout it on scionlife, now i just visited their website.... sneeky!

Good customer service would have been making sure they sent the correct rims the first time. Thats just how I see it anyway. I won't be ordering from them any time soon.

 

i ordered rims fom them friday i'll post my results. the rims i ordered were the last 4 of that style in the wharehouse and no other shops have them at all, so i'm skeptical as to how this will end up, even before i read this post.

 

I will post "soon to come pics" when I get the rims bc I still need to order tires

DAMN! that is screwed up!

 

so here is an update for my order. i got 3 rims friday all were in perfect condition and were exactly what i ordered but one of the packages was held up in shipping so i should see it monday. will post again then to let everyone if there are any complications.

 

my order did end up coming out right eventually, even though I never recieved a call back from the manager.... all in all I am pretty satisfied with them, they worked fast to fix the problem and eventually got it right

i know some of you have had issues with wheelmax, but i received and installed my exel tz-10's today! everything came out fine (order, size, lugs, etc...). i ordered on monday 9/24, and it came in today, 9/28. so all in all, good experience. sorry to those of you who didnt have it as easy.
