I used to have some people at a dealer that said they would get me the clusters for $225, but I dont think that was programmed and they dont work there anymore

Yep, just like all cars that I know of, especially non-electronic clusters. On those, the mileage has to be set by the manufacturer. So ours is no different other than the fact it is done electronically.

Thats why it isnt wiped out. You can put your cluster in another car and it will display the mileage from the car it came out of. That why you have to order it programmed from Toyota. Now, I was also told at a dealer that you can order it with 0 miles, but they have to document that, meaning your odo readings will be recorded as invalid and selling the car wont be too easy

Also that is for 06 models only...... I do not have an 07 spare hvac yet.. still looking for one. There would be a deposite involved but if it helps ya, I am happy to work it out.
I know this is an old post, but this right here won my business... Garage, I will be contacting you within the next few weeks. I have a major show coming up right now and all income wise is focused on that show so after that has come and gone, I will be contacting you.

But Sorry about your guages dude!
