You guys should have really heeded the warning about this guy.

Seriously, he has a record from the past of screwing over all sorts of people but some of you guys put some blind faith to the test and got burned.

Hope everything goes well for you guys, but he's weasled out of things before.

Next time, just listen to people when they say they been dicked over by a certain individual...c'mon, the guy has like 8 different alias--all linked to shady practices.

How are peolpe going to heed warnings when they never see them? It's not like there is a sticky about this or anything.

I requested this become a sticky but nothing yet.
Also found an interesting article that depicts him very well.

According to the US Securities and Exchange Commission the internet is an extremely easy place to promote a scam. The internet allows people to reach a large populace with a very small amount of money. "Anyone can reach tens of thousands of people by building an Internet web site, posting a message on an online bulletin board, entering a discussion in a live "chat" room, or sending mass e-mails."

It's extremely hard to spot fraudulent opportunities from the real ones and you can end up losing a large sum of money.

Message boards are an extremely easy way to post a scam. All you need is an alias. The scamster simply creates a post under a false name. He then starts creating a thread. For instance, "Has any one heard of xyz company, I heard they offer a great opportunity." A bit later, he'll follow up with something like this. "Yes, I heard of them. I've only been an associate for a month and have already made $2,000 dollars."

He'll keep on creating threads with different aliases to create false credibility.

This isn't the whole article, I just highlighted this part because of relevancy. All the people who keep supporting him (teak or taek or whoever) prolly same guy)

RESEARCH a company before you send money to them--that helps some.

Posting in this very forum could have given you more than adequate answers to whether buying from him was a good decision or not. Heck, there is like 7 topics on TCTUNERZ alone on the very first page of this forum.

And to those that had absolutely no way of knowing he has this reputation--now you know. It's unfortunate that some have to find out the hard way but with every reported incident our case grows stronger.

I hope he gets what he deserves, like I said--but the more people know the harder it is for him to pull this kind of stuff off.

Taek is just a 16 yr. old boy who got in over his head. I don't think any of this should be directed at him.

For all the people who have been scammed by tctunerz....

FILE A REPORT WITH THE BBB!!!!!!!

FOr the love of criminy, file a report with the BBB. Swamp the mother$%#*( with feedback. If Duwayne and tctunerz is as crappy as everyone says, he not only won't respond to most of them, it will simply drive them out of business or at the very least it lets people on this board tell others;

" hey, before you buy from tctunerz, check out their BBB rating".

Because just saying these scams are happening on this board isn't enough to protect others from falling for the same scam.
While the BBB has no enforcement power it serves as documentable public warnings to people who want to buy stuff.

etli the bbb will only hurt his rating and stop people who check it from using you also have to file with the ifcc check my previous posts for the link. They investigate fraudulent activities and are associated with the fbi.

I was suppose to recieve my megan headers already... i bought it on the 14th and as of today, nothing..... tctunerz called me within the next 5-6 days or somthing and told me they should have already sent the product. after that they said i should be recieveing an e-mail of my tracking # etc. by the next day or 2, now its the 3rd day and nothing.. and ofcourse they never pick up there phones...

just let you guys know, i payed through Paypal and you can always attempt to "reverse payment" on the sellers and say the seller "never sent the item" or "scammed" me....

paypal will then settle the issue, if it doesnt turn out right paypal will automatically take the money back from the seller to you... and what sucks most they automatically charge it out of the sellers bank account....

but i really, i want my headers, tctunerz please hurry up

I believe that when someone logs onto a reputable site such as this, scionlife, we almost expect that the business that sponsor this site to be as reputable.
I know it's tough and nearly impossible ... impractical really, for the site owner/s to do a background check on a potential sponsor.

tCtunerz found a spot to scam, and scam well.

I also think that it is considered fraud when you pay for something advertised and A) never recieve it B) get something other than you paid for, something other than item advertised.

So I do think there is fraud being committed here, and the intention to commit fraud. Only by the amount of other fraudulant activities the individual's been accused of.

You can AIM him at tctunerz , he has not been on a whole lot since this thread popped up tho.

Good Luck to everyone involved.

Small Claims may be your best bet too, he won't show up and you'll win the decision... that will mark his company negatively. But you still may have to chase your $ down. Just get a sherrif to go put a lien on his home.

i'm not getting into the fray regarding tCtunerZ. but i do want to give a shout out for taek. i know him personally and he's a good guy. anything he says can be trusted with the caveat that he might be getting the wrong info too.

at the very least, taek will do what he can to help everyone here.
